Whereabouts
It is believed that Julie was going to Fairburn, Ga. From Campcreek Pkwy in East Point, Ga. Being at christmas she may have stoped to do some more shoping for her children. She would never give details of her whereabout or intention of stops while she traveled. [for instance: Going to stop at the bank in Union City and then Walmart] She would not give addresses to places she was working just general locations. Because of this tracking her has been an Akilles heel for the police and family. When contact was lost with her no one had any idea where to start looking. If there is something to learn from this, may one thing be, to tell our whereabouts and intentions in respect and self preservation. May God bless Julie Meadows- children, family and friends

Julie is not the only victim of this horrendous crime, but her family is also the victims. She was very much love by all her family. I know the culprit will not identify himself/herself, but perhaps someone has some information that will be helpful to convict the assailant and bring some closure to the family. However, this will not ever bring closure for her lose. She will be in their hearts forever.
ReplyDeleteI have thought of Julie often since I heard about this tragedy. I had run into Julie back in October at a convenience store near my home and it was so nice to chat for a while. I always really liked Julie and my prayers are still being sent to all of her family. What a terrible loss. Cindy Overbye
ReplyDeleteJulie is my third cousin and she has been in my thoughts as the 1 year anniversary of her death passed.
ReplyDeleteI was watching the news tonight and another similar crime was reported on the news that struck me as being similar to Julie's tradegy. I wanted to post here in case there may be some sort of relation: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/22113164/detail.html
Julie was on my heart tonight, did a search to find out if this case was ever resolved, so sad to hear that it has not. Julie was my friend and I miss her dearly. Sending prayers to her family, esp her children whom she loved so much. I pray there will be justice soon.
ReplyDeleteI been praying for this family since our plumber (brother-in-law) did some work at our home. I hope and pray that this family get closure.I will continue to pray until this is a closed case, please if you have any information on this case please let this family put to rest what happen.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about Julie this afternoon as I cleaned out an old desk. She had written on a small piece of paper her contact info including her e-mail and phone number. She worked for me for a couple of years in Sandy Springs. The day before this happened she asked me if she could borrow my car the following day to pick up her children. My husband and I said we were sorry but we carried a large deductible should anything happen with the car.
ReplyDeleteJulie was thoughtful and talented. After cleaning she would often sit in our garden. I considered her a friend and was deeply moved with sadness for her and her family. Julie you are missed and loved.
